PORTLAND (AP) — More power has been restored in Maine after a snowstorm left over 100,000 customers in the dark for Thanksgiving.

Central Maine Power reports more than 31,000 without power Friday morning, down from 104,000 at peak. The most outages were still in York and Cumberland counties.

Emera Main was down to about 500 without power Friday, down from nearly 11,000 at peak.

Both utilities are urging customers to stay away from downed power lines and to contact them if outages occur.
