1921 – 2014
LEWISTON — Josephine “Gracia” Dufresne, 93, a 10-year resident at Russell Park Rehab and Living Center, died there peacefully Saturday, Nov. 29, with her two nieces by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 26, 1921, the daughter of William and Imelda (Bazinet) Dufresne. She attended local schools. She enjoyed doing many crafts, making puzzles, playing bingo and cards and especially helping others.
Survivors include her sister, Emma Baillargeon; as well as many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Philip and Patsy Paquette.
She was predeceased by her four brothers, Alfred, Antonio, Augustiin and Rosario; and her two sisters, Delima Gagne and Alice Lacombe.
Her niece, Nadette, would like to thank the staff at Russell Park and Androscoggin Hospice for their concern special care given to her aunt.
