LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Claude M. Rossignol was celebrated by the Rev. Aaron Damboise on Monday, Dec. 1, at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish following prayers at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.

During Mass, Claude’s daughter Anne Marie Comeau, proclaimed the First Reading. The Offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Claude’s granddaughter, Laurie Oringer, and Claude’s great-great-granddaughter, Nicole Theriault.

Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Damboise recited committal prayers. after which the U.S. Army Honor Detail played taps and presented the U.S. flag to Claude’s son, Patrick Rossignol, in recognition of his father’s service to his country during World War II.

The pallbearers were Claude’s grandsons, Gregory and Jamey Bourgoin, Lance Comeau, as well as Roger, Rodney and Michael Rossignol.

At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a gathering at Governor’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home of Lewiston.
