Season outlook: The boys’ team finished second in the KVAC’s last year and was 13th in the states. Many of the runners back were part of a cross country team that finished fifth in the KVAC’s and third in regionals, while others were on the Eastern A championship soccer team. The boys’ team has talent in most events and should have a number of impact athletes at the state level. The girls’ team is the largest indoor track team in the school history. Many were part of the cross country team that finished third in both the KVAC’s and regionals. The girls’ team is still building depth and experience, but should be especially strong in the relays.
