AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church, High Street Congregational Church along with St. Michael’s Parish and West Auburn Congregational Church are looking for volunteers to help make mittens for youth and children ages 5-15 for the churches’ Warm Hands Project.
The goal is to distribute 500 pairs of mittens to needy children during the month of January. They can be knitted or fleeced.
Mittens may be dropped off at the High Street Church, 106 Pleasant St., or at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave., during office hours. The deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 31.
