WILTON — The third annual Wilton Winter Wonderland will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5.

Following the tree-lighting and carols, hot chocolate will be available at KeyBank, Town Manager Rhonda Irish told the Board of Selectpersons on Tuesday.

There will be cookie decorating at Ray Ray’s Cafe and Sweet Treats and kids’ crafts at the Wilton Free Public Library. People can bring cameras to take photos with Santa at Damon Photography.

The town tree was donated by Janice Stinson Pryor in memory of her parents, Wayne and Vestina Backus, Irish said. Pryor also donated a tree last year.

The board expressed appreciation to Bee Line Cable TV and employees of the town’s Highway Department. Bee Line employees helped the town crew members put up lights and decorations this week, she said.

All are welcome to the tree-lighting, sponsored by the Wilton Events Committee. More information is available at 645-7057.
