1964 – 2014

WALES — Frederick (Fred) Rosenshein, 50, of Wales, died Thursday, Dec. 4, surrounded by his family.

Fred was born on May 6, 1964, in Manchester, Conn., to James and Patricia Rosenshein.

Fred married his love, Francine McDonald Rosenshein, on July 12, 1991, and they enjoyed every moment of their life together. Fred and his wife were constantly side by side, their love more powerful every day. Their children were such a source of pride and joy to Fred. His role as a husband, father and grandfather was taken as an honor and privilege.

Fred enjoyed working for Wales Central School as a school bus driver, and he enjoyed his “Manic Mondays” with the kids on the school bus. Fred was a proud member of the Grace and Truth Bible Church in Litchfield, where he made many friends and gained new family members. Fred was an avid outdoorsman; he liked to fish, he loved making people laugh, playing board games with family and friends, playing video games and enjoyed his extensive DVD collection; and above all, he loved Jesus.

Fred is survived by his wife, Fran of Wales; his four children, son, Dennis Rosenshein and his wife, Dorothy, of Wales, daughter, Elizabeth Dye and her husband, Brian, of Gardiner, son, Nathan Rosenshein, and daughter, Amanda Rosenshein of Wales, ME; his beloved granddaughter, Angel Rose Grace Rosenshein; his brothers, Norman, of Irving, Texas, and Dave and wife, Monique McNelly, of Litchfield; and his sister- and brother-in-law, Samantha and Scott Dimmick of Wales.

Fred was predeceased by his father; mother; and sister, Helen Rosenshein.

Fred was a bighearted man, a goofball and his wife’s better half.
