AUBURN — Virginia “Ginny” A. Hiitt, 84, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, at Bolster Heights in Auburn.
She was born on Nov. 2, 1930, in Lewiston, the daughter of the late Phillip and Frances (Scott) Hiitt Sr. She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended her early schooling locally. During her high school years, she moved to Auburn with her parents and she was a graduate of Edward Little High School. Ginny was very active in her church throughout her life. She was currently a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Auburn. She will be remembered for her love of collecting dolls, doing various needle work creations and also her enjoyment and active participation in Bible study.
She is survived by her brother, Phillip Hiitt Jr.; a nephew; and several nieces, cousins and good friends.
