MEXICO — The Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (the “Green Church”) will host a number of upcoming special Christmas programs.

At the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Dec. 21, the choir will present “One Holy Night,” a narrative and special music for Advent and Christmas. The choir is under the direction of Jo Ellen Winslow, who has prepared the program.

A traditional Christmas Eve service of carols and candlelight will be held at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, led by Pastor Izzie Radford-Nash. At midnight the sanctuary will be darkened as the worshipers form a circle with their candles for the singing of “Silent Night.”

An invitation is extended to the community to attend these services.

The Women’s Fellowship Christmas dinner that was postponed due to a storm has been re-scheduled to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the church.
