GREENE — Norman and Felicia Bernier and Jeffrey and Alison Newton are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Brooke Lee Bernier and Jeffrey Warren Newton Jr.
The bride-to-be, a 2008 graduate of Leavitt Area High School, received a master’s degree in school counseling from Husson University in 2014. She is employed as a guidance counselor at Spruce Mountain High School and is a dance instructor at Mary Jane’s School of Dance.
The future bridegroom, a 2008 graduate of Leavitt Area High School, received a doctor of pharmacy degree from Husson University in 2014. He is employed as a pharmacist at Central Maine Medical Center.
Miss Bernier is the granddaughter of Pauline Bernier, the late Gail Marshall and Carl Menge, and the sister of Morgen and Kyle Bernier.
Mr. Newton is the grandson of the late Richard Newton, RoseAnn Newton, Charles and Alice Williams, and the brother of Adrianna Newton.
The couple resides in Greene and they are planning a July 2015 wedding in Wells.
