RUMFORD — The Adult Choir of St. Athanasius & St John’s Catholic Church, in Rumford, Holy Savior Parish, will be presenting a musical celebration of Christmas prior to the 10 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve and the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Christmas Day.

On Sunday, Dec. 28, the choir will repeat the presentation at the 9:30 Mass.

Each concert will begin approximately 20 minutes before the Mass.

Selections will include: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen; Sussex Carol; the Gloria from Mozart’s Twelfth Mass; and O Holy Night.

A few of the titles to be sung during the Masses: O Come All Ye Faithful; Harken and Hear; The Little Drummer Boy; and Joy to the World.

For the 34th year, Mark Belanger is the director of the four-part choir. This season the choir has 46 members ranging in age from 23 years old to 91 years young.
