BETHEL — Attorneys Kirk G. Siegel and Jarrod S. Crockett announce the formation of a new law firm, Siegel & Crockett, P.C., effective Jan. 1, 2015.

The firm will focus on real estate transactions and title examination, land disputes, land conservation and family land planning, business formation, estate planning, probate practice and general litigation.

Crockett and Siegel are renovating the Young House at 63 Main St., which previously housed Erin’s Cafe. The attorneys will operate at their 14 Main St. office for January until the improvements are complete.

Crockett, an attorney with Hanley & Associates since 2008, is a former Maine legislator who was raised in Oxford County, graduated from Gould Academy, and served as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer for several years. His wife, Paige, is a legal assistant with the firm. They and their two children live in Bethel.

Siegel has practiced real estate, title, and land conservation law for the past 15 years as a partner at Hanley & Associates in South Paris and Bethel and has served as counsel on complex land transactions from York to Aroostook counties. He is a founder and former board chairman of the Mahoosuc Land Trust and has served as a member of the Gould Academy board of trustees. He and his wife and their two children are avid outdoor recreationists.

Also joining the new firm is Carol Bourque, who has worked as a paralegal for Crockett and Siegel in their Bethel office for two years, following a 32-year career in the legal department at John Hancock Financial Services in Boston.

Until Jan. 1, Siegel and Crockett can be reached at 207-824-0717. After Jan. 1, 2015, the new firm’s phone number will be 207-824-2247.
