LEWISTON — Monday’s strong winds are responsible for power outages, according to Central Maine Power.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory — 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts as high as 55 mph are forecast — for Monday.

In Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties, downed power lines are affecting:

  • Auburn: 26
  • Carthage: 14
  • Chesterville: 8
  • Durham: 1
  • Farmington: 9
  • Freeman: 7
  • Greenwood: 1
  • Hartford: 107
  • Industry: 17
  • Milton: 2
  • New Sharon: 165
  • Perkins: 18
  • Phillips: 1
  • Sumner: 17
  • Temple: 3
  • Washington Twp: 18
  • Weld: 585
  • Wilton: 274
  • Woodstock: 2

CMP says it is working on restoring power across the state, and any outages should be called in to 1-800-696-1000.
