BRIDGTON — The 2nd annual Lake Region’s

show features contestants eager to showcase their abilities on the stage at the Magic Lantern. Following a series of auditions, some amazing acts from around the region were chosen to move on to the quarter finals. Selected participants, including solo performing artists, a magician, band, and dance troupe, will perform before the judges and audience.

The following acts will be featured in the quarter finals held on two consecutive Sundays from 1-3 p.m. at the Magic Lantern.

On Sunday, Jan. 11, watch Bailey Nassa and Mackenzie Gifford — lyrical dance; Kara Moxcey — song; Madison Martin — magic show; Abbie Vaughn — song; Dani Gordon and Shawna Silke — duet; Sara Carlson and Mallory Strain — song with piano accompaniment; Julia Distefano — song; and Christian Martin — guitar.

Performing in the quarter finals on Sunday, Jan. 18, will be Morgan Lamontagne (vocals), Reed Bridge-Koenigsberg (percussion), Matthew Buchanan (guitar), Anthony Champoli (guitar) and Galen McLaughlin (bass) — in a band called It Doesn’t Matter; Mercedes Martin — song; Gracie Vaughn — song; Emilie Camous — song; Jenna Moxcey — violin; Quynh Nguyen and Carly Dyer — duet; Briley Graves — song; and Liza Collins-Schrader, Laura Taylor and Kristen Farwell — contemporary dance.

All are vying for the chance to win over a thousand dollars in cash and prizes.

All shows are open to the public and tickets will be sold at the door.

Ticket prices for ages 6 and older/$5; ages 5 and under/free.

Audience members may also purchase 50/50 raffle tickets.

Judges will vote to move contestants on to the semi-finals.

A semi-final performance will be held on Sunday, Jan. 25, and the final competition will occur on Sunday, Feb. 8.

Judges and the audience will decide the final outcome.

All four shows will be televised on Lake Region Television.
