Set against the backdrop of the French Riviera, this romantic spoof of 1920s musical comedies tells the story of English heiress, Polly (played by Kaitlyn Doyle), who is longing for only one thing: a boyfriend. Polly’s father, Percival Browne, (played by Hayden Rodrigue), convinced any boy who isn’t wealthy will court Polly strictly for her financial situation, forbids her to engage any potential suitors.

Honoring his wishes, Polly explains to Tony (played by Nik Peterson), the messenger boy with whom she’s fallen in love, that she is no rich girl. This is just the tip of the mistaken identity iceberg as love proceeds to charmingly find its way through nearly every member of the cast and bring them all to a happy ending.

Other cast members include Brittany Bays as “Mme. Dubonnet” who runs the girls’ finishing school outside of Nice, France; Michaela Gervais as “Hortense” the school’s chic French maid; Jeremy Pellegrini and Kaitlyn Lemay as “Lord and Lady Brockhurst”; Emma Weissenfels as “Maisie”; Joseph McGeoghegan as “Bobby”; and rounding out the cast, Cassie Lovell, Katelyn Cloutier, Kitaira Harvey, Hannah Nadeau, Angelique James, Michaela Shannon, and Emma Christman as other young ladies attending Mme. Dubonnet’s Finishing School, along with Dylan Wing, Noah Leclair, Sam Guilford, Dylan Leavitt, and Kyle Severance who play local French gentlemen.

The musical is directed by Lucy Rioux, with musical direction by John Neal. Technical direction is provided by Laura Eldridge along with the tech crew, Kasey Doyle, Makenzie LeBlanc, and Linus Obenhaus.
