LEWISTON — Because of the weather, the Lewiston CareerCenter has rescheduled the Job Fair that was to be held Feb. 2. The Job Fair will now be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, at its building at 5 Mollison Way, Lewiston. All employers will be hiring.
Employers participating in the job fair include Arcadia New England, Bank of America, Catholic Charities, Clover Health Care, Great Falls Marketing, Hancock Lumber, HW Staffing Solutions, Kelly Services, Labor Ready, Lewiston Public School System, MAS Homecare of Maine, Manpower, Securitas Security Solutions, State of Maine Bureau of Human Resources, Stericycle Communications Solutions, Support Solutions, Ted Berry Company Inc., TD Bank, Quality Traffic Control and Xerox Services, plus others.
Attendees should bring a resume and be prepared to have an “interview-like” conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas and abilities. Job seekers should also be dressed for an interview.
The CareerCenter, located at 5 Mollison Way in Lewiston, is open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can also find more information at the CareerCenter website, www.mainecareercenter.com.
