Police have handled 67 calls for service from Feb. 1 to 23, including the following.


* Raynold Lee, 47, Jay, operating under the influence, operating after suspension and displaying a suspended license, 6:22 p.m. Feb. 3. He was released on bail and will be arraigned on March 3 in 11th District Court.


* On Feb. 16, Darcy Arsenault called to report an accident on the Canton Point Road. Police found a vehicle was entering the Canton Point Road from Route 2 and  struck a large snowdrift, spun and stopped in a snowbank. There was no damage. A passing motorist pulled the vehicle out.

* On Feb. 15, Nathanial Boucher was traveling on Route 2 when he lost control of his Subaru, slid into a snowbank and was pulled out by a tow truck. There was no damage.

* On Feb. 5 at 2:34 p.m., Kathryn Morse, 58, of Adamant, Vt., was traveling east on Main Street in her 2014 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle when she failed to notice that James Flynn III, 63, of Campton, N.H., was stopped in his 2011 Subaru. Also stopped in traffic in front of the Subaru and waiting to turn was Steven Fillds, 23, of Rumford in his 2007 Kia. Morse struck Flynn’s Subaru, totaling her SUV. Flynn’s Subaru sustained more than $1,500 in damage and although Fillds’ vehicle was also struck, there was no damage. Morse complained of chest pain and was evaluated by Med-Care Ambulance.

* On Feb. 4 at 12:17 a.m., Dixfield police responded to a snowmobile accident with reported serious injury. The officer assisted as needed. The Maine Warden Service is investigating.


* On Feb. 9 at 2:45 p.m., a complaint was filed by Regional School Unit 10 of a vehicle passing a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing. Dixfield police are investigating.

* On Feb. 2 at 1 p.m., Dixfield police investigated an incident between a husband and wife. The case is under review by the Office of the District Attorney.
