TURNER — Paul and Michelle Allen of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Allen of Turner, to John Edward Blais of Turner, son of John and Linda Blais of Rumford.
Miss Allen is a 2008 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2012 graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Maine with a bachelor’s degree for registered nurse. She received a master’s degree in October 2015 through St. Joseph’s College of Maine. She is employed as an RN at Central Maine Medical Center, Intensive Care Unit.
Mr. Blais is a 2005 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2008 graduate of Southern Maine Community College. He is also a 2011 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and is employed as a merchant marine through ConocoPhillips.
The wedding will be held on Sept. 17, 2016, in New Gloucester.
