FARMINGTON — The electrophysiology coordinator team from Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology will offer bimonthly cardiac device clinics at Franklin Memorial Hospital from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning April 1 in the hospital’s second floor cardiology clinic.

Services will continue to be offered at the same time on the first Wednesday of every other month for 2015: June 3, Aug. 5, Oct. 7, and Dec. 2.

Team members are proficient in testing and programming pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators. 

These electrophysiology technicians work in conjunction with cardiologists to provide proper device management and optimal function. Both in-office and remote evaluation appointments are performed on a routine basis depending on the device type and patient follow-up needs.
