Allen, CFP, assistant vice president, LPL financial consultant at Camden Financial Consultants in Auburn, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the Certified Financial Planner and CFP certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements. Allen has worked at Camden Financial Consultants, located at Camden National Bank, since 2012 and provides financial planning and investment management services for his clients.
Previously employed at Hartford Mutual Funds in Pennsylvania, Allen, a native of Pownal and graduate of Greely High School, returned to Maine three years ago to pursue the opportunity with Camden Financial Consultants. With 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, he brings a vast array of industry knowledge and superior customer service skills to his role as a financial consultant.
The CFP marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP Certification Examination. CFP professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s code of ethics and professional responsibility, rules of conduct and financial planning practice standards.
