RUMFORD — The Pennacook Art Center will host an art show from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.

Christine Wing, whose art is frequently included in the shows, said the center took a break in March from its monthly shows.

“People just weren’t coming out with the cold weather, and the roads were bad,” she said.

The group also decided to move the shows from Friday to Thursday to give more people an opportunity to attend, Wing said.

Resident Dennis Moro has volunteered to play his guitar at the show, Wing said.

“He’s offered to volunteer in the past, so we agreed to have him on,” she said.
