1984 – 2015

WILTON — Joseph Adam Degone, lost his battle on Wednesday, April 1. Rest in peace, my son.

Joe was born on June 16, 1984, the son of Robert and Diane “Brochu” Degone.

He was a free spirit who was always up for a new adventure in life. If you knew Joe, you knew how infectious his smile was, and how he had such a love for kids. That smile will stay with you for a lifetime.

Joe was a very family-oriented man who loved a family gathering. He had a heart and soul of gold. Joe had a passion for anything with a motor and loved snowmobiling, four-wheeling, dirt biking and motorcycles, as well as fishing and camping. Most of all, he loved to be on the back of his fathers Harley in his younger years.

He graduated from Mt. Blue High school with the Class of 2003 and worked at various automotive jobs throughout his life.

Joe is survived by his father, Robert Degone and his fiancée, Deanne Oberton, of Wilton; mother, Diane Degone of Wilton; a son, Adam Degone of Rumford; his sister and friend, Brandy Degone and her fiancé, Nate Childs; niece, Emma Childs of Temple; sisters, Jamie St. Pierre of Old Town, and Kelly St. Pierre of Poland; soulmate, Amanda Lake and her daughter, Aryona, of Wilton; grandparents, Ann Degone of Florida, and Rene and Beverly Brochu of Jay; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special uncle, Charles Degone of Harlem, Ga.

Joe was predeceased by his beloved grandfather, Robert Degone; and his uncle, Dave Degone.
