BRIDGTON — Peter M. vanden Berg, M.D., F.A.C.S., has been appointed to the Bridgton Hospital medical staff. He is practicing with Bridgton General Surgery, where he has served as a contract surgeon since September 2014.
From 2010 until beginning his work in Bridgton, vanden Berg practiced at Paulding County Hospital in Paulding, Ohio. He has practiced surgery since 1986, when he began working for Joliet Medical Group in Joliet, Ill. His professional experience includes work as a surgeon in Illinois, Michigan, and most recently, Ohio, where he lived and worked from 2000 to last year.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
