AUBURN — Central Maine Community College (CMCC) will host its annual Spring Open House for prospective students and their families from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 11, at its lakeside campus, 1250 Turner St.

“We are excited to once again be hosting an open house,” said Director of Admissions Andrew Morong. “In addition to having all academic programs and student clubs and activities on display, the college will have staff on hand to assist students with the admissions and financial aid application processes. As always, students who complete an admissions application at the open house will have their application fee waived.”

CMCC offers 24 career and technical programs that prepare graduates for immediate employment or to transfer to a four-year institution. In addition to on-campus housing and a large number of student organizations and activities, the college offers competitive athletics in baseball, softball and men’s and women’s basketball, soccer and cross country.

For more information about CMCC, the open house or for directions to the campus, contact the college at 755-5273, enroll@cmcc.edu or visit www.cmcc.edu. The event is free and refreshments will be served.

While no RSVP is required, prospective students and their families are encouraged to visit http://www.cmcc.edu/FutureStudents/OPENHOUSE for program updates and to RSVP for the open house.
