AUBURN — Laurent J. Dube, 76, a longtime resident of Lewiston, died Saturday, March 21, at the Hospice House with family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 14, 1938, the son of Wilfred Dube and Rachel Lamie Dube. He married the former Nancy Veilleux in 1971, and together they raised three daughters. After his service he returned to Lewiston, where he worked for Libby Mill, Auburn Die for many years and O’Brien Consolidated.

Laurent loved woodworking, home improvement projects and was meticulous at his craft. He loved spending time with family, including many trips to the ocean, having coffee with his niece and going on road trips with his friends. He also enjoyed trips to California and Florida with his wife Nancy after retirement.

Laurent is survived by his devoted children, Cathy Pray and husband, Keith, of Lewiston, Michelle Morgan and husband, Fred, of Augusta, and Theresa Edwards of Winthrop; three special grandchildren, Carolyn, Tyler and Jennifer; and several nieces and nephews.
