Daughters of Isabella to hold April meeting

RUMFORD — St. Timothy’s Circle No. 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the Holy Savior Church Hall.

Chairpersons are Lorraine Barre and Simone Rafuse. Also on the committee are Viola Worcester, Marie Coffin, Maureen Leavitt, Nicole Harris and Louise Richard.

Members to be congratulated on 25-year-plus membership to the Daughters of Isabella are Marie Boudreau of 48 years, Mary Buccina of 54 years, Hazel Buccina of 51 years and Jennie Curato of 54 years.

Stephens High School Class of 1950 to meet

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1950 is invited to meet for the monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Gatch’s Restaurant.

Mexico High School Class of 1960 to meet

MEXICO — The Class of 1960 from Mexico High School will meet for their monthly class lunch at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at Gatch’s Restaurant. FMI: Jeanne, 364-8841.

Drug Take Back Program to be held April 25

PARIS — The next statewide Drug Tack Back Program will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office will have two “safe disposal” locations, the South Paris and Bethel offices. Participating in the program in Oxford County are the Rumford, Mexico, Dixfield, Paris, Norway and Oxford and Fryeburg police departments.

The Federal Drug Enforcement Agency will no longer be coordinating the Drug Take Back Program. The Maine Sheriff’s Association will oversee the program.
