MINOT — At the March meeting of the Minot Historical Society, a history of Shiloh and Frank W. Sandford and the kingdom was given by Bill Hiss of Minot.

Hiss has been interested in this group since he did a PhD dissertation when he was a student at Bates College,and has continued a relationship with the group.

A history of the grange with speaker Clyde Berry of Winslow will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the Minot Town Office.

He is Chaplain of the Maine State Grange and a member of the history committee.
