RUMFORD — The Hope Association will host its annual spring craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
Association employee Sally Theriault said crafters from the region are invited to purchase table space to sell their items.
“This year, we have people from Waterville, Sumner, Andover, Carthage and Dixfield who will have a table,” she said. “It’s really nice to see everybody come forward.”
Association volunteers will have a cookie walk table and serve breakfast and lunch at the craft fair, Theriault said.
All money raised will help fund a trip to the Special Olympics Summer Games for Team Sunshine.
“Everyone on Team Sunshine absolutely loves participating in the summer and winter games,” Theriault said. “They compete in different races and participate in softball throws. The money we raise at the craft fair helps them get to the competition.”
Team Sunshine has previously competed in Fryeburg and Bangor.
