1951 – 2015
LEWISTON—Althea Eldridge, 63, of New Gloucester, passed on Wednesday, April 15, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was born on May 25, 1951, a daughter of Homer and Lottie Jewett of North Yarmouth. She married Arnold Eldridge of New Gloucester on Aug. 29, 1970, and was an employee at Shaker Village for 32 years.
Althea’s hobbies included playing cards and computer games, spending many summer days boating on Sabbathday Lake with family and friends and enjoying time with her grandchildren, Tatiana and Taelor.
Althea is survived by her husband of 45 years, Arnold Eldridge; son, Dale Eldridge; brother, Butch Jewett; and sisters, Charlene Holmes, Geneva Randall, Vivian Blanchard, Karen Moore and Jill Libby; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and father; and sister, Geraldine Jewett.
