DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Arthur J. Belliveau, 98, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., passed away on Monday, April 13.
Arthur was born Jan. 12, 1917, in Gardner, Mass. He attended Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Mass. and graduated from Bates College in 1941. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946.
Following his military service, he began his career as a teacher, coach and athletic director at Edward Little High School in Auburn.
He is predeceased by his wife, Bernice (Olivier).
He is survived by daughters, Carol Beals of Boca Raton, Fla., Nancy Woodhead and son-in-law, Gregory Woodhead, of Arlington, Va., Jane Wiliams of Florence, Ky.; grandson, Scott Williams; and great-granddaughter, Kelsey Williams of La Porte, Texas; siblings, Florine LaFortune of Gardner, Mass., Juliette Columbus of Otter River, Mass., Pauline Croft of Barre, Mass., Robert Belliveau of Gardner, Mass., and Leo Belliveau of Florence, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
