LISBON — Award-winning illustrator David Catrow presented his work to more than 600 students March 16 at the Lisbon Community School.

Catrow shared how he creates his illustrations, his work with various artists and his experiences as a child.

“Students were given the opportunity to meet with the artist during a book signing at the end of the day,” said Katherine Dodge, district librarian. “David inspired students to be creative and comfortable in their own work as artists.”

Catrow donated the artwork he created during his visit to the school, which was supported by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization.
