LEWISTON — The May 8 Food for Thought presentation at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn Senior College will feature Rick Hauck, a retired captain in the US Navy, former fighter pilot and NASA astronaut.
Hauck will discuss his role in “The Human Spaceflight — Where Have We Been and Where are We Going?” Hauck piloted one Space Shuttle mission and commanded two others.
The public is invited. Early reservations are encouraged because capacity attendance is expected. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for the luncheon program in Function Room 170 at the College, 51 Westminster St., Lewiston.
The cost, which includes lunch, is $7 with advance reservation or $8 at the door. Reservations must be made by noon on Wednesday, May 6, by calling 753-6510.
