AUBURN — Literacy Volunteers-Androscoggin will hold the 17th annual Letters for Literacy Scrabble Fest on Saturday, May 17, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn.

The Scrabble Fest is Scrabble with a twist as teams of four players, sharing the same letter tray, test their skills against other four-person teams in three, 30-minute rounds.

Participants may gather a team or register as a single player to be matched with a team, choose a team name and collect pledges to benefit Literacy Volunteers.

An array of prizes will be available for the top fundraisers, such as use of the WMTW skybox at a Sea Dogs game.
