LISBON FALLS — Normand and Rita Renaud of Lisbon Falls are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Christine Marie Renaud, to Saul Lopez, son of Julian and Carmela Lopez of Warwick, R.I.

Ms. Renaud grew up in Lisbon Falls and graduated from Cheverus High School in Portland in 2009. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology, a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in American sign language from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., in 2013. She plans to graduate in May with a master’s degree in social work from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Lopez grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from Providence Academy in 2009. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2013 and is currently stationed in Virginia.

The wedding is planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Holy Trinity Parish in Lisbon Falls.
