GREENE — Bates College track and field coach, Al Fereshetian, will present a “Constitutional Pep Talk: The urgent need of an engage citizenry,” at the Araxine Wilkins Sawyer Memorial, 371 Sawyer Road, at 2 and 7 p.m., Friday, May 8. The event is free and open to the public.

According to publicity for the event,  Fereshetian will speak about the challenges that face the country today. “The structure and foundation of our nation is changing right before our eyes. Our founding fathers anticipated times like these and accordingly provided for us a mechanism for ‘We the People’ to help ensure the promise of liberty and freedom for us and our posterity: the Constitution.”
