What began as a birthday dinner date between two friends, Francis “Mimi” McCourt and Marcia Calden, became a surprise 90th birthday party at the AmVets in Jay, April 11, 2015.

Frances was born April 12, 1925 and has achieved legendary notoriety throughout the community as well as her large family as “Mimi”.

Friends and co-workers from Camp Winnebago, as well as from Virginia, attended the celebration, along with many local friends and family members which included grand, great, and great-great grandchildren.

Family from Delaware, Colorado, and Tennessee were in attendance to celebrate the event as well.
