1941 – 2015
BOWDOIN — Marie T. Hilton, of Bowdoin, passed away peacefully on the evening of Tuesday April 28.
She was born in Rumford on July 14, 1941. She grew up in the area and attended local schools. Marie was a graduate of Stephens High School, Class of 1958. Shortly after high school, on Aug. 5, 1960, she married Wallace Hilton and they had two children. Marie dedicated herself to the raising of her children and tending to their home. She was always very passionate about her children’s wellbeing.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Wallace Hilton of Bowdoin; her children, Frank Hilton and his wife, Donna, of Sabattus, and Darlane Allen and husband, Joel, of Bowdoin; her three grandchildren, Brandy Dube, Jessica O’Shei and Raymond Allen; and her three great-grandchildren, Samantha and Collin O’Shei and Raymond Allen Jr.
