Shettleworth talk about the governor’s mansion and give selected readings from his new book, “The Blaine House.”
“The Blaine House” is a pictorial history of one of Maine’s most important buildings. Using old photographs, Shettleworth tells stories of Maine’s first families and famous guests.
Shettleworth has served as director of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission since 1976 and as Maine’s State Historian since 2004.
