1960 – 2015

WATERFORD — Thomas S. Roy, 54, of Waterford passed away at his home on Sunday, May 3, with his wife by his side.

He was born on Sept. 15, 1960, in Norway, the son of Stanley E. Roy and Doris Murphy Roy. He married Debra Maxim on Dec. 18, 2013.

Tom worked in the woods for several years when he was younger, before becoming employed with Lucas Tree Experts, where he remained for many years until he was unable to work because of illness.

Tom had many close friends and family members, with whom he enjoyed spending time with doing the things he loved — snowmobiling, four-wheeling and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

In spite of Tom’s illness, Tom and Debbie were able to take several motorcycle trips over the past few years, riding with friends to the Blue Ridge Mountains and down to the Florida Keys.
