BRUNSWICK — State police are dealing with a series of crashes involving multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, on Interstate 295 on Wednesday afternoon, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
The crashes occurred in the highway’s southbound lane, and the injuries involved aren’t considered life-threatening, McCausland said.
One car is overturned, and traffic is backed up for more than 1 mile.
Northbound traffic is not affected.
