BATH — Attackman Alec Beveridge collected four goals to lead Morse to a 13-11 victory over Oak Hill in boys’ locrosse action Tuesday afternoon.

Senior midfielder Kyle Flaherty recorded a game-high five goals, including the 100th of his Oak Hill career, in the losing effort. Connor Elwell and Alex Mace pitched in with two goals apiece for the Raiders (1-2).

Midfielder Myles Day and attackman Perry Chase contributed three goals each for the Shipbuilders.

Though Morse had the upper hand for most of the game, the Raiders battled back repeatedly and made it a one-goal game with one minute to play.

St. Dom’s 15, Erskine Academy 5

AUBURN — Ridge Servidio scored six goals and tallied an assist as St. Dominic Academy remained undefeated with a 15-5 victory over Erskine Academy on Tuesday.

Kenton Ernst, Brendan Donovan and Matt Chasse all had three goals for the Saints (3-0). Donovan and Chasse also added two assists.

The Saints outshot Erskine Academy 29-19. Alex Michaud finished with 14 saves for St. Dom’s and Jakob Church stopped 14 shots as well for the Eagles (1-3).

Trever Browne had two goals to lead Erskine Academy.

Girls’ lacrosse

Mt. Ararat 7, Lewiston 6

TOPSHAM — Lauren Williams scored at 7:02 of the second half to give Mt. Ararat a 7-6 win over Lewiston in girls’ lacrosse Tuesday.

The Eagles were up 6-4, but Lewiston rallied and tied the game on a Morgan Eliasen goal at 9:16.

Kristina Blais had two goals for Lewiston (3-1) while Williams and Emily Webb each had a pair for the Eagles (3-0). Lewiston goalie Paige Fontaine made six saves as Mt. Ararat outshot Lewiston 14-12.

Baseball

Oxford Hills 11, Mt. Ararat 1

PARIS — Senior pitcher Aiden Heikkinen went 2-for-3 with a triple to lead Oxford Hills to an 11-1 triumph over Mt. Ararat in KVAC baseball action Tuesday afternoon.

The Vikings (6-1) catapulted to a 5-0 lead in the first inning with seven hits in the frame. Junior catcher Matt Smith contributed two RBIs for Oxford Hills.

Senior second baseman Liam Brannigan came on in relief in the fifth inning for the Eagles (0-6), and contributed an RBI in the losing effort.

Softball

Mt. Blue 13, Lewiston 4

LEWISTON — Mt. Blue exploded for 10 runs in the second inning to rout Lewiston 13-4 in KVAC softball action Tuesday afternoon.

Jordan Mynahan produced a pair of singles for the Blue Devils (0-7).

Kasadie Barker collected three hits, including an in the park three-run home run for the Cougars (3-4). Pitcher Caitlin Kane gave up just one earned run in seven innings of work on the mound, while allowing just four hits in the winning effort.

Oxford Hills, 12, Mt. Ararat 8

PARIS — Senior first baseman Anna Winslow posted a two-run home run as Oxford Hills battled to a 12-8 victory over Mt. Ararat in KVAC softball action Tuesday afternoon.

Second baseman Sara Lamb had two singles, a double and two RBIs to guide the Eagles.

The Vikings (6-1) had a pivotal defensive play in the top of the sixth when Madison LeBlond turned a double-play on a throw to Annika Kahkonen, who in turn tossed out the runner at first.
