LISBON — Jobs For Maine’s Graduates Lisbon Program traveled to the Augusta Civic Center on April 29 for the 2015 Career Development Conference.

The Career Development Conference is an annual JMG event where juniors and seniors across the state gather to work on career development skills, compete against their peers and attend workshops that focus on professionalism and their future aspirations.

Lisbon High School’s JMG classes spent months preparing for this conference, choosing the theme of Scooby Doo and the Mystery Machine centered around the idea that “Life is a mystery, find the clues to solve it.”

Lisbon High School received two first place honors at CDC this year. LHS won the Facebook cover photo competition where they had to create a photo cover that showed what they do in JMG, winning a $100 check to go towards their JMG Career Association. The school also won the Golden Tab Award for collecting the most aluminum pop tabs, 99 pounds, benefiting the Ronald McDonald Foundation.
