AUBURN —The Androscoggin Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network invites members, guests and the general public to its meeting Wednesday, May 13, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Quentin Chapman of Corporate Intelligence will present the issue of situational awareness.

This basic introduction to situational awareness will have three key focus points: how situational awareness applies to daily life, obstacles that impede a person’s situational awareness, and techniques to improve a person’s situational awareness — especially important for busy professionals.

Chapman retired from the U.S. Army Infantry as a sergeant first class having served in several locations in and out of the U.S., including both Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, he is employed at Corporate Intelligence as a security specialist, hosting seminars and offering some of the necessary tools for businesses and professionals to stay safe and meet federal regulations in an increasingly unpredictable word. In addition, Quentin uses a nontraditional and modern approach to investigations that has commanded a respected reputation with his peers and clients.

The lunch will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. The cost of $17 for members and $21 for nonmembers includes everything. Nonmembers are always welcome. Online preregistration is required by May 12.
