PARIS — Oxford County sheriff’s deputies responded to 211 calls between May 4 and May 11, including:

* At 6:02 p.m. May 10, a woman from Scribner Hill Road in Otisfield reported property damage to Cpl. Chris Davis. A vehicle slid off the road and struck a tree in her yard. However, there were no witnesses and nobody reported an accident. The woman believes the tree is worth $200.

* At 3:01 p.m. May 10, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department called with a complaint of an intoxicated person on a bicycle on Camp Nona Road and Route 121. Cpl. Justin Brown checked the area and the bicyclist was not found. Davis also responded and found no one.

* At 1:11 p.m. May 10, a person in Lovell reported threats made by her father toward her, her mother and daughter. Deputy Danielle Welch spoke with the other parties involved and they have no knowledge of any threats being made.

* At 10:56 a.m. May 10, Deputy Josh Aylward responded to a complaint of an out-of-control 9-year-old at a residence on Sunday River Road in Newry. Further investigation revealed no crime was committed.

* At 10:04 a.m. May 8, Deputy Mike Halacy responded to a complaint from a caller in Arizona, who had concerns over money she sent to a person in Lovell in a residential lease. Halacy said he spoke with the person but found no criminal activity. He advised the caller if she is a victim of fraud to call him.

* At 5:44 p.m. May 6, Welch and Deputy Matthew Baker handled a complaint from a resident of Butterfield Road in Sumner who advised that his wife has received two calls from an unknown person about a bad check. The person  requested money or threatened the wife with arrest. The husband had already checked with his bank and his account is fine. The deputies advised him this is a scam and to ignore it.
