1951 – 2015
LEWISTON — On Friday, May 8, Linda T. (Parent) Vaillancourt went home to be with the Lord. After years of enduring caregiving, her delicate energy will be forever remembered by those left behind.
Linda had two sons, Donald and Kevin, who were born with muscular dystrophy. Linda was devoted to caring for both boys until they passed. She loved and lived for her boys. Today, her family and friends find peace knowing she is with them again.
When she wasn’t caring for others, Linda enjoyed shopping, eating sweets and spending time with her family and friends who lived at the Dominican Apartments. Linda loved and maintained a strong faith in God. She always wore a smile and presented with a cheerful laugh.
She is predeceased by her sons, Donald and Kevin; her mother and father, Marie-Ange and Alcide Parent; and sister and brother-in-law, Claudette and Gard Enmam.
Linda is survived by sisters, Diane Bannister, Rachel Parent and Doris Parent; a brother, Ray Parent; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
