RUMFORD — The Mahoosuc Land Trust’s second annual bird walk is set from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Saturday, May 23, along the Ellis River in Rumford.
Emily Ecker and Marcel Polak will guide the walk. Rain date is Sunday, May 24.
The starting point is on the left side of the East Andover Road, approximately 1.1 miles north from the intersection of the Andover Road and the East Andover Road. Parking is available on the right side of the road traveling north.
Participants must dress for weather, bugs, walking and wet footing and should bring binoculars, birding guides and journals.
