AUBURN — Housing rules and ways to improve communication between tenants and landlords will be the subject of a forum Wednesday night at the Auburn Housing Authority’s offices, 20 Great Falls Plaza.

The two-hour forum is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Topics will center on communications between landlords and tenants on topics such as leases, notices, infestations, service animals and lead paint.

The forum is free and open to the public. It’s being sponsored by the cities of Lewiston and Auburn, and the Auburn and Lewiston Housing Authorities.

Presenters include attorney Aubrey Russell of Shankman and Associates and Pine Tree Legal attorneys Patricia Ender, Matt Dyer and Nicole Bissonnette. Bissonnette works as the Kids Legal Lead Education and Outreach for Pine Tree Legal.

Panelists will discuss the responsibilities of landlords and tenants followed by a question and answer period.
