MEXICO — Parents and guardians with children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 are asked to call Meroby Elementary School to preregister their child for kindergarten from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Friday, May 29.
Formal registration and screening will take place on Wednesday, June 3. Parents should allow one hour for the appointment.
Children currently in kindergarten at Meroby will not attend school on the day of the screening.
Pre-K registration forms are available at Meroby and can be picked up at the school between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Parents and guardians need to bring proof of residency (lease agreement or current bill or statement), an original birth certificate from the town where the child was born, not the hospital, and immunization information when registering.
