National Active and Retired Federal Employees to meet
LEWISTON — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1804 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at the Ramada Inn.
A social time will be followed by lunch at noon.

New Auburn organizations to meet
AUBURN — The United New Auburn Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Rolly’s Diner.
The Neighborhood Watch Group meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at the Tailgate Gourmet. Guest will be the police chief.
The groups are sponsored by the Auburn Police Department and the Neighborhood Watch.
Women and Social Security presentation set for May 27
FARMINGTON — Senior Planning Center of Farmington will present Women and Social Security at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, Roberts Learning Center UMF Room 131.
The presentation will be led by Joshua Lyons, Technical Expert of the Auburn Social Security Administration. He will focus on how Social Security can be best used to support Maine’s Women.
The event is free. Seating is limited, so reservations must be made.

Mexico library has new internet safety policy
MEXICO — The Mexico Public Library has adopted a new Internet Safety Policy. Copies of the policy are available at the library.
From 6 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, there will be an opportunity for anyone interested to attend a short meeting, at which residents are invited to ask questions about the policy. FMI: 207-364-3281.
Livermore craft fair seeks vendors
LIVERMORE — The newly renovated Livermore Community Center on Church Street will hold its first craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11.
Committee Members are seeking crafters and vendors to fill 15 spots. Tables will be $20 each. There will also be baked goods for sale.
All profits will go to the community building restoration.

Fairbanks school accepting donations for annual yard sale
FARMINGTON — Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association will hold its annual yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Fairbanks School, 508 Fairbanks Road, Route 4.
The association is accepting donations for the sale, but cannot accept clothing or computers. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Fairbanks School Maintenance Fund.
Items for sale will be reduced to half-price at 1 p.m. The rain date for the event will be June 13.
