JAY — An 18-year-old Livermore Falls man is accused of sexually touching a girl under 16 years old on a school bus, Jay police Chief Richard Caton IV said Thursday.
Alan Burnell was arrested on a felony charge of unlawful sexual contact on Wednesday, he said.
The victim reported the incident to a counselor earlier in the day.
Detective Michael Mejia conducted an investigation and arrested Burnell, Caton said.
Burnell was being held without bail Thursday at the Franklin County jail in Farmington, pending an initial appearance in court Friday. He is scheduled to also appear in a Farmington court July 28.
